Nursing
I started school at Champlain College to improve my English and to open more doors for me in
the future. I would also like to do my Bachelor in Nursing to be a clinician nurse. I’m very proud
of myself for putting non-stop efforts in my school journey. It’s very encouraging to be the
winner of the Sherbrooke Hospital Scholarship.

Nursing
I am 25 years old, a returning student that had discovered nursing was my vocation. I am hoping after my studies to pursue my studies at the university level and be working at the Sherbrooke Hospital. I want to thank you for awarding this scholarship to me as being a nursing student, finding time to work between homework and clinicals, there is almost no time. This will give me the opportunity to concentrate on my finals and help me pay for my future nursing books. Thank you so much, this is greatly appreciated!

LPN program
As an older student, I was quite happily surprised to be selected for this award. Moving back to Canada, requalifying for a medical job and starting fresh, in a French province, has its many challenges and it feels great to have these efforts recognized. After spending most of my life in Florida working in the medical field, it was somewhat of a shock to jump back in school so I can live my dream career. I hope to be able to keep educating myself after I’m done with my LPN diploma and work in labor and delivery as a nurse.
