Uplands hosts Lennoxville Art Group exhibition and sale
Uplands Cultural and Heritage Centre, located at 9, Speid Street, Lennoxville is hosting a spring exhibit by the Lennoxville Art Group (LAG) in the centre’s art gallery.
The vernissage will take place this Sunday, April 7 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. All art lovers and community members are invited to stop by and meet the artists and admire their work!
The exhibit will continue until May 26, 2024.
Nurturing creativity
Formed in 1992, LAG gathers a vibrant and dedicated artistic community of now 25 members, several of whom are long-standing participants. While the group doesn’t give painting lessons, its members share ideas and participate in workshops. Moreover, LAG supports its members by organizing collective exhibits and assisting them with individual showcases, enriching the local artistic landscape.

The exhibit and sale will feature the work of the following locals:
Ilah Batley, Thérèse Blood, Martine Brault, Claire Bureau, Françoise Comeau, Pauline Crease, Leta Dustin, Muriel Fitzsimmons, Debbie Gagnon, Francine Gauthier, Marcelle Genesse, Heather Grant, Marilyn Hobbs Turner, Jane Loiselle, Helena Lolley Brodie, Sarah Mcconachie, Sonia Palik, Kathy Teasdale and Shirley Thompson.
Spring at Uplands
In addition to the “Lennoxville Art Group” art exhibit and sale taking place, an outdoor photo exhibit, “Estrie Landscapes” by photographer François Lafrance in set up on panels in the woods on the property.
