Spring activities in the Pays de L’ardoise

It looks like it will be a good year for maple syrup producers this year. Many of them are reporting that the trees have ran a lot at the end of March and beginning of April.

Springtime is officially upon us, despite the fact that there are often days when we tend to not know what season we’re in. Likely, you’re struggling to figure out which clothing items your children need for school, and which layers you’ll require for your day. However, at least the days are getting longer and the prospect of having flowers and green grass seems more promising. Have you noticed the return of the birds? I saw a robin recently. If the parks and trails in our municipalities aren’t too muddy, it can be a great time to enjoy nature walks. a

It looks like it will be a good year for maple syrup producers this year. Many of them are reporting that the trees have ran a lot at the end of March and beginning of April. Perhaps, this is reason to celebrate with pancakes, waffles, or French toast. Maybe you’ll want to add some fruit to the top of your culinary creations for a little spring flair.

Moulin à Laine Ulverton

The Moulin à Laine in Ulverton is looking for help with their spring cleanup. They’ve planned this for April 27. Meals and a participation gift will be offered to the volunteers. Golf & Chalet le Belle-view

While we might not be golfing yet, that doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy a delicious meal including lunch, supper, or brunch on the weekend at the Golf and Chalet Le Belle-view (75 Rue Belmont, Richmond). Visit their website or Facebook page to enjoy the menu. Owner of this picturesque establishment, Pyer Lyne Deslauriers is also the honorary president for La Galerie Perkins’ Salon Empreinte D’art during their opening weekend May 17 to 20.

Quillorama Richmond

Another great activity that people of many ages can enjoy is bowling. Quillorama Richmond (555 Craig, Richmond) is a great place to plan a party, or activity with friends/family or by yourself. The bowling alley is also right beside Valentine’s and Subway if you’d like to get something quick to eat before or after a game.
