What’s taking place in our region in the coming days?

- Submitted by Richmond, Histoire et Coopération

It is incredible how many things are taking place in our region. There are so many different programs, organizations, and businesses which I wasn’t familiar with until it became part of my mandate to write this column each week. In doing so, it meant that I was always on the lookout for information and have begun following more Facebook pages and getting a variety of newsletters so that I can be better informed to tell you what is happening. And even by doing that, I know there are still things we miss, so please if there is something you think we should be covering, contact us and let us know. Perhaps, this year you’d like to be a tourist in your own backyard.

And once again, thank you to all of our volunteers. Several municipalities and organizations have been celebrating them this week in a number of ways, but we cannot thank you enough for the work you to make our community better.
