This time, the alarm sounded at 2 a.m. Oct. 30 when one section of a two-pane window was broken. The window did not shatter, the store was not entered and nothing was taken.

Last Nov. 10, a different pane of the same window was smashed and items left overnight in the display were stolen but the thief did not get into the store. The suspect left blood at the scene and police collected DNA samples.

At the time of the first incident Port Elgin was dark because of a power outage.

The police investigation of the latest incident continues.
