Didier Drogba has made his final ever appearance as a professional footballer. The 40-year-old lost his last game as Phoenix were beaten by Louisville City in the United Soccer League Cup final. Following the game, Drogba applauded the Phoenix fans as they serenaded him. He then invited his teammates to join him in interacting with the fans. Drogba was seen consoling some fans and thanking others. The Ivorian had an illustrious career having played over 750 games, scoring 365 goals and winning 17 trophies. But, perhaps what he’ll be most remembered for was that night in Munich, looking at you Chelsea fans.
