FC Cincinnati have unveiled its crest ahead of their inaugural season in Major League Soccer next season. The club is keeping its name and maintaining the same blue and orange colour scheme it has been using in the USL. The crest however, has gone through a makeover. The redesign was spearheaded by Interbrand, who were involved with the new Juventus crest. The shape of the crest is now pentagonal, and features a white sash separating the club’s colours. The crown of the old logo is gone, and the winged lion has been updated. The seven points on its mane represents the seven hills of Cincinnati, the three feathers of the wing represent the three seasons they played before joining MLS. FC Cincinnati will be the 24th club in the league next year.
