One of Tottenham’s ads has come under scrutiny after the Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) received a complaint that the ad was misleading. To promote their new stadium, and take a dig at their city rivals, Tottenham launched a campaign with the phrase, “The only place to watch UEFA Champions League in London.” Of course, Chelsea and Arsenal weren’t too pleased with the advert, seeing as both clubs are in the Europa League this year, but they might have the last laugh. Tottenham may very well be knocked out of the Champions League before they actually open and move into their new stadium. The ASA has released a statement saying the ad was likely to have breached their advertising rules.
