VISITING “FANS” ARE THE DISABLED ONES

Soccer 360 - - Premier League -

Disabled Manchester United fans have called for netting to be up at Old Trafford to protect them from missiles thrown by visiting away fans. The supporters’ section where the disabled fans sit is right below where the visiting fans are housed. Manchester United Disabled Supporters Association (MUSDA) say flares, bottles filled with urine, coins and pies thrown have landed in their section. Netting was used for the Champions League games against Juventus and Young Boys, and MUSDA is looking to make that permanent.
