Soccer 360 - - Serie A -

The saga in Italy’s second and third divisions is finally over. The Italian football federation (FIGC) has ruled that Serie B should continue with 19 teams, while all Serie C sides should resume playing. Following the bankruptcies of Avellino, Bari and Cesena, Serie B decided not to replace them. A number of teams in Serie C launched legal appeals to be added to Serie B, which have been heard in various levels of court and after a back and forth between the clubs and the league, a decision was finally made to keep Serie B at 19 teams.
