Bayern Munich fans have demanded that UEFA open disciplinary proceedings against Greek champions AEK Athens after claiming they were overcharged at the Champions League match in Athens. The visiting supporters were charged €35 and according to some research, fans in the equivalent sections in the home end were only charged €15, while fans directly beneath the away end paid as little as €10. If the research is deemed accurate by UEFA, AEK Athens would be in breach of Article 19 of European Football’s governing body’s Safety and Security Regulations which states that ticket prices for visiting supporters must not exceed ticket prices paid for by the home supporters in a comparable category/section.
