Tie your tiny shoes and join our Tiny Tuna Run of 600m. Children ages 12 and under have the opportunity to race to the finish line! This event is FREE!

2pm to 4pm - Wedgeport Tuna Museum, Lower Wedgeport Children ages 2 to 12 can join us for under the sea themed activities, crafts and snacks during our afternoon adventure with the Tuna Princesses! Cost: $5 per child
PAINT NIGHT
6:30pm to 9pm - Wedgeport Tuna Museum, Lower Wedgeport Join us and paint a lovely sea themed canvas. Wine and snacks will be available for purchase. Only 40 spaces available! All painting supplies are included. Must be 19 or over! Cost: $40 per person

OPENING CEREMONY WINE & CHEESE

Come eat, drink, explore the Wedgeport Tuna Museum and meet this year’s Pageant Princesses.

CAPTAINS’ SEND OFF
7pm - Wedgeport Breakwater Wharf, Lower Wedgeport
Wish the fishermen well, as they set sail for the fishing grounds, a 12-hour sail! This activity is FREE!
HERRING TOSS
7:30pm - Wedgeport Breakwater Wharf, Lower Wedgeport Teams of 2 toss and catch herring during this messy event for people of all ages! The toss will take place right next to the wharf shortly after the tuna boats set sail. Great family fun event! Cost: $10 per team of 2 people

SCAVENGER HUNT

Bring a team of 2 or more, a car, and a camera and search Wedgeport to take pictures of the team with all the items on your list! Cost: $5 per person Thursday August 23
JUNIOR FISHING DERBY - Sponsored by D. K. Muise Motors Ltd.
10am to 12pm - Wedgeport Breakwater Wharf, Lower Wedgeport
Anyone 16 and under can participate! Bring your rod, lures and mandatory lifejacket to catch some fish off the wharf.
Parent or guardian must be present. This activity is FREE!
WEDGEPORT TUNA TOURNAMENT PAGEANT

Come watch the crowning of the 2018 Tuna Queen! It will be a Christmas themed night featuring live entertainment by Simon, André, André & Shane! Cost: $5 per person

SEAFOOD EXTRAVAGANZA

A large variety of fantastic food will be available including: Steamed lobsters, clams, rappie pie, lobster rolls, sushi, seafood chowder, bacon-wrapped scallops, tuna steaks, hot dogs, hamburgers and more! The bar will also open at 4pm!
