EYEING OPTOMETRY CAREER

Dayspring and District Fire Department Chief Mark Feener presents the department’s 2022 $500 bursary to Evan Spencer of Upper Lahave. Spencer, 18, graduated from Park View Education Centre and will attend St. Mary’s University, where he will study physics. He then intends to obtain a degree at the University of Waterloo School of Optometry and Vision Science in Ontario. Spencer wants to return to Nova Scotia to practise optometry.
