Fourth Annual Square Show Exhibit

Our annual Square Show Exhibit begins on Nov. 5. This exhibit features artists from the South Shore and beyond. Show runs until Dec. 17.

Years Before the Easel — A Retrospect­ive, by Nova Scotia marine artist Graham Baker. Shows runs from Nov. 5 to Dec. 17. The opening reception will be held on Nov. 5 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.

In Search of Emotions — Bridgewate­r Photo Club Exhibit

Enjoy the Bridgewate­r Photo Club’s latest corridor exhibit, In Search of Emotions by Jostien Algroy. The series marks the beginning of Jostien’s long journey of capturing emotions in photograph­y. Show runs

from November to January.

Thursday Afternoon Coffee Social

Join us at Desbrisay Museum every Thursday afternoon from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. for a coffee social. Enjoy an afternoon of socializat­ion, community interactio­n, as well as free coffee, tea, snacks and games.

Weekly Watercolou­r Painting Program

Join us every Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. for the watercolou­r painting social group. Bring your painting supplies to work on your project. The fee

for the season is $10.

Free Environmen­tal Workshops by NSCC

Join us for a series free citizen science workshops hosted by students of NSCC’S natural resources and environmen­tal technology program. Workshops take place on Nov. 3, 17 and 24 at 10 a.m. This series is open to all ages and no pre-registrati­on is required. Explore topics such as leaf identifica­tion and pressing, trees and climate change, and research collection with inaturalis­t.

Adult Autism Social-ish Club

The Adult Autism Social-ish Club is a peer-led group that brings together adults, ages 19 plus, who would like to meet and connect with autistic peers/peers with autism. Their location is changing this month.
