Gross a dou­ble Saskatchew­an CPGA win­ner

Lo­cal golf pro­fes­sional Jeff Gross was saluted for an ex­cel­lent cam­paign on the Saskatchew­an Pro­fes­sional Golf cir­cuit this past year. His out­stand­ing play this sea­son earned him the Scott Knapp Tro­phy as the Saskatchew­an CPGA Player of the Year.

The lo­cal lefty cap­tured his first CPGA of Saskatchew­an Cham­pi­onship by de­feat­ing Ryan Dan­berg on the third hole of sud­den death play­off. Gross had birdied the third hole at the Prince Al­bert Cooke Mu­nic­i­pal Golf Course.

Dur­ing the past golf sea­son Gross has also cap­tured top spot in the Tay­lor Made Pro-Am as well as the Royal Regina Pro-Am.

Gross also cap­tured the Peter Cushner Award which is the Saskatchew­an CPGA Or­der of Merit Award. Gross has ac­cu­mu­lated 286 points which was 36 points more than an­other lo­cal golf pro­fes­sional Jeff Cham­bers.
