Mark Friesen made 42 saves in his sec­ond win as a Bronco since be­ing ac­quired from the Chilli­wack Bru­ins.

Sun­day the Bron­cos fell to 1-1 on their trip with a 6-2 loss to the Tri-City Amer­i­cans.

Af­ter a score­less first pe­riod the Bron­cos fell be­hind 4-0 in the mid­dle stanza on their way to their 11th reg­u­la­tion loss in 16 road games this sea­son.

Adam Lowry and Michael Stick­land both scored pow­er­play goals as the Bron­cos fin­ished two for seven on the pow­er­play.

Friesen made 35 saves on 40 shots as he dropped to 23.

With the loss the Bron­cos dropped to 17-16-0-6 and re­mained fifth in the East Divi­sion.

This week­end the Bron­cos will con­clude their trip with games in Port­land on Fri­day and Seat­tle on Sun­day.
