Sunday the Broncos fell to 1-1 on their trip with a 6-2 loss to the Tri-City Americans.
After a scoreless first period the Broncos fell behind 4-0 in the middle stanza on their way to their 11th regulation loss in 16 road games this season.
Adam Lowry and Michael Stickland both scored powerplay goals as the Broncos finished two for seven on the powerplay.
Friesen made 35 saves on 40 shots as he dropped to 23.
With the loss the Broncos dropped to 17-16-0-6 and remained fifth in the East Division.
