New CEO announced for Innovation Credit Union
The Board of Directors of Innovation Credit Union announced June 17 that Daniel Johnson will soon be Innovation Credit Union’s new CEO.
“Daniel demonstrates a keen dedication to the growth of the credit union system and possesses extensive educational and professional development,” said Gordon Lightfoot, Innovation Board President. “He has shared his experience as an Executive with a number of financial cooperative organizations including Concentra Financial and Credit Union Central of Saskatchewan, and most recently as a CEO and Senior Vice President in the Alberta credit union system.
“We look forward to having Daniel as part of the Innovation team and welcome him back to Saskatchewan,” added Lightfoot.
Daniel, his wife Laureen, and two children Hunter and Kamryn, will be residing in Swift Current. Daniel will officially join Innovation Credit Union on July 11.
At that time, Susan Woods, Interim CEO, will return to an Executive position and continue to make significant contributions at that level.
“ We believe [Daniel’s] compelling strategic leadership, exceptional business and financial acumen combined with his unique ability to motivate and engage the efforts of people in a common goal will strongly facilitate our future success,” said Lightfoot.
