Colts re­main win­less af­ter blowout loss to Vanier

The Swift Cur­rent Comp. Colts foot­ball team took one on the chin Satur­day as they dropped to 0-4 with a 79-21 loss to the host Vanier Vik­ings.

The Vik­ings scored 11 touch­downs to re­main un­beaten in three games this sea­son.

The Colts, who played the game with­out five starters, re­mained win­less with two games left in the reg­u­lar sea­son.

The Vik­ings have now out-scored their op­po­nents 153-29 dur­ing three blowouts wins. They com­piled 522 yards of of­fense on just 28 plays.

The Colts did man­age to score three touch­downs against a team that had al­lowed only eight points dur­ing its two pre­vi­ous games. They put up 262 yards of to­tal of­fense on 51 plays and did not com­mit a turnover.

Grady La­mon­tagne scored a pair of touch­downs for the Colts. Jaylen May­all scored the other touch­down on a 64-yard re­cep­tion from Cur­tis Akre.

The Colts will have the bye this week be­fore head­ing to Este­van on Thurs­day as they con­tinue to search for their first win in the Moose Jaw High School Foot­ball League this sea­son.
