February schedule announced for Influenza Clinics in Cypress Health Region
After a week of providing Influenza Clinics out of the Swift Current Mall, the next series of flu shot clinics will be switching to the E.I. Wood Building.
Starting this past Monday, flu shot clincis will be offered Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the fourth floor of the E.I. Wood Building.
All clinics continue to be conducted on a drop-in style basis with no appointment is necessary. Immunizations are being offered on a first come, first serve basis until supplies are depleted. Both nasal spray and injectable vaccine will be available at all clinics.
Saskatchewan Health officials report 16 confirmed deaths in the province as a result of influenza along with over 1,180 confirmed lab cases. A total of 60 patients have been admitted to intensive care as a result of influenza.
