Cody Snyder PBR returns May 24

On May 24, the Profession­al Bull Riders (PBR) return to Swift Current for one night of endless action. It’s the “Party of the Year”, as Redhead Equipment Case IH presents The Cody Snyder PBR Invitation­al Bull Riding at the Credit Union i-plex.

This is not a rodeo; it’s the Toughest Sport on Earth. You will witness first-hand bull riders from around the world competing on the rankest, most notorious bucking bulls on the planet followed immediatel­y by the “The Party in the Dirt” presented by Crutch’s Plumbing & Heating Ltd held in the i-plex curling rink, featuring Canadian Country Music Award Winning Artist Julian Austin.

Some of the great riders scheduled to compete (barring injury): 2003 PBR World Champion Bull Rider Mike Lee (Texas); the only Canadian Bull Rider on the Nationally televised PBR Built Ford Tough Series Ty Pozzobon (Merritt, BC); reigning PBR Canadian Champion Zane Lambert (Westbourne, Man) plus many other top riders are among the 30 participat­ing. The event begins at 7 p.m. The party in the dirt held in the i-plex curling rink begins immediatel­y following the bull riding. This event will also feature world class bulls from Canada’s top stock contractor­s including Kelly Armstrong, Girlets Brothers and the Calgary Stampede. Featured bulls include the great unridden, superstar bull… Buffalo Chips as well as the fantastic bull Rainy Nights who has only ever been ridden one time by Pozzobon at last year’s Calgary Stampede. Tickets went onsale to the season ticket holders at the Stable at 9 a.m. Feb. 5-9 at 8 p.m at the Bronco Game. Tickets go on-sale to the general public on Feb. 10 at 9 a.m. They will then be available online. Prices starting at $35 plus convenienc­e fee, and can be purchased at The Stable, by calling 1-306773-1509 x 1, or at tickets.scbroncos.com. Season Ticket Holders can purchase Party In The Dirt tickets for $15 from Feb. 5–9 but it is first come first serve.
