Swift Current residential lots on sale on July 21

The City of Swift Current is making available 47 new fully serviced residential lots on a first come first served basis starting on the morning of July 21.

“After a very wet spring and summer, which created difficult construction conditions, we will have 47 residential lots available for sale,” explained Kathy Hopfner, General Manager of Corporate Services.

There are a total of 41 single family and six duplex lots being made available in the Valley Ridge residential subdivision north of the Cypress Regional Hospital. All the lots will be sold on a first come first serve basis beginning at 7:45 a.m. Mon., July 21st at City Hall.

Prior to the July 21st sale date, anyone interested in acquiring the lot sales map, which includes the lot locations, sizes, prices and terms and conditions that apply, can do so at City Hall. A lot map is also available to view online on the City of Swift Current homepage, www.swiftcurrent.ca.

The City also recently issued request for proposals for the development of a 3.1 acre multifamily site and an 18 unit townhouse development both of which are located in the Valley Ridge Subdivision. Any developer interested in these request for proposals can contact the city or view the city’s website for details.

The City of Swift Current also anticipates having approximately 77 additional new residential lots in the Valley Ridge subdivision ready for sale in late fall or early spring.
