SaskTel TelCare makes a dif­fer­ence in Swift Cur­rent

SaskTel em­ploy­ees reached out to as­sist a to­tal of 11 dif­fer­ent groups and agen­cies dur­ing their an­nual SaskTel TelCare do­na­tions.

A spe­cial do­na­tion morn­ing was hosted ear­lier this month where SaskTel em­ploy­ees handed over cheques to­talling just over of $7,300 dur­ing this yearend tra­di­tion. SaskTel em­ploy­ees con­trib­ute money through a vol­un­teer pay­roll de­duc­tion pro­gram, and SaskTel matches 50 cents for ev­ery dol­lar em­ploy­ees con­trib­ute.

This year, $667 do­na­tions went to: Alzheimer So­ci­ety of Saskatchew­an, Sal­va­tion Army - Swift Cur­rent Christ­mas Ap­peal, Cana­dian Di­a­betes As­so­ci­a­tion, South­west Cri­sis Ser­vices, Swift Cur­rent SPCA, Alzheimer So­ci­ety of Saskatchew­an, Cana­dian Men­tal Health As­so­ci­a­tion - Swift Cur­rent Branch, the Kid­ney Foun­da­tion of Canada - Saskatchew­an Branch, the Saskatchew­an Abil­i­ties Coun­cil - Swift Cur­rent Branch, The Swift Cur­rent United Way, plus the Com­mu­nity Coop Playschool.
