Frontier Days another huge hit

“We try to accommodate all audiences, but we really concentrate on the family. And that’s why we went with the free family night. And the motocross was a big hit, it was just something different. And there was a huge lineup of people getting in there, and the show was excellent.”

“We tried to bring a little bit of the old and some of the new, and that’s what you’ve got to keep doing.”

She also saluted their volunteers for contributing to their success.

We can’t do this without the volunteers. Well over 500 volunteers and community groups help us out. We can’t do it without them.”

“Every little job helps because it’s a big undertaking to put that on for four days and put 25,000 to 26,000 people through the gates.”

She extended a special thanks to the City of Swift Current Kinetic Park crew, the Syrian family who served as the clean-up crew after the fair, and Servicemaster for cleaning the washrooms on the grounds.
