Bantam Colts skate past Flyers and Bearcats

The Swift Current Colts picked up a pair of lopsided wins in the Saskatchew­an Female Bantam A Hockey League over the weekend.

Saturday, the Colts got goals from eight different skaters in a 10-2 win over the Milestone Flyers. Annika Kirk picked up the win in goal.

Brogan Carlson led the way with two goals and two assists. Teagan Paul scored twice and Paisley Arntsen registered two assists. Sadie Keller, Abbie Noble, and Olivia Kirwan all added a goal and an assist each.

Mya Brown, Tess Bakus, and Marie Tsougriani­s also scored, while Chenielle Elviss, Mya Girard, and Chloe Shumaker all added assists.

Sunday, the Colts followed up with a 7-1 win over the Estevan Bearcats, led by a hat trick from Keller. Elviss, Arntsen, Paul, and Kirwan each had a goal and an assist, while Kirk earned another win in goal. Noble added an assist.

The Colts finished the weekend in second spot in the South Division with an 11-2-1 record. They will return to league action on Jan. 2.
