SWAC basketball season underway
SOCCER SPORTSMANSHIP BANNERS
On Friday, Dec. 14, three of our SWAC soccer teams (SCCHS Ardens and Colts, Herbert Boy Laurels) were recognized for their outstanding sportsmanship at the SHSAA 3A and 1A provincial soccer championships. The assistant executive director of the Saskatchewan High School Athletic Association, Dave Sandomirsky, was on hand to speak about the examples of sportsmanship that had been observed by the selection committee. The coveted blue sportsmanship banners were then presented to the team captains of the Herbert Laurels boys, SCCHS Ardens, and SCCHS Colts soccer teams. Congratulations to these soccer programs on demonstrating what high school sport is all about… the perfect combination of skill and sportsmanship.
