Appreciative of efforts during medical crisis

Editor:

In December 2018, Brittany Peterson, a Continuing Care Assistant from Home Care found me “unresponsive” at 9:30 a.m. Peterson’s assessment led to quick and accurate action and she called 911 and RN Melanie Suschuk.

You saved my life, as my blood sugar was .8. I know that night hypoglycaemia (low blood sugar) while asleep and untreated can be fatal.

Thank you for this initial important care. I recall nothing from midnight until approximately 11 a.m.

Thank you to Home Care staff, firefighters, ambulance, First Responders, hospital emergency RNS and physicians for my recovery.

Also I am grateful that my daughter Barb insisted that I have daily Home Care last fall.
