- SOUTHWEST BOOSTER

The country sounds of the 90s will have the audience clapping and singing along during the grandstand entertainment at 2020 Frontier Days.

The headlining trio of Aaron Tippin, Sammy Kershaw, and Collin Raye will be featured on the Frontier Days stage on Saturday, June 27 during a Roots and Boots themed night of music.

Tippin enjoyed a series of hits from his 1992 platinum album Read Between The Lines, including the chart topping There Ain’t Nothin’ Wrong with the Radio, and the top 10 singles I Wouldn’t Have It Any Other Way and My Blue Angel. He also reached the top of the charts in 1994 with the single Lookin’ Back at Myself, with the ballad That’s As Close As I’ll Get to Loving You, and the 2000 song Kiss This.

Kershaw is a multi-platinum selling artist with six gold and three platinum albums. He has released 11 songs which have reached the top 10, including number one songs She Don’t Know She’s Beautiful and Love Of My Life!

Raye was also a chart favourite artist in the 90s thanks to 24 top 10 records, plus a total of 16 number one hits which includes On the Verge, One Boy, One Girl, What the Heart Wants, Every Second, That Was a River, Anyone Else, and If I Were You.

The concert will also feature Saskatchewan’s own Kalsey Kulyk. Hailing from Hudson Bay, Kulyk had a love of music at a young age and competed in hundreds of talent shows and competitions. She endured a battle with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma but that fuelled her desire to perform that much more. She won the Canadian Country Music Association’s Discovery Artist Program as well as ole’s “On the Spot” competition. This earned her a publishing and record deal, and she launched her career in Nashville. She released her self titled debut seven song EP this past spring.
