Activities will resume at the Stockade on September 28

A series of activities will resume next week when the Stockade re-opens on Monday, September 28.

The City of Swift Current’ Community Services division noted that a trio of regularly scheduled recreation­al activities will resume at the Stockade.

Tots Play will be offered on Mondays and Wednesdays from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. beginning September 28th. The cost for this program is $2 per family.

Walking for Wellness will also begin on September 28th, running Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Walkers can participat­e at a cost of $1 a day or $4 per week.

Forever in Motion will be offered on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:00 to 9:45 a.m. at a cost of $1 a class.

Community Services is also advising the public that, in accordance with Provincial Public Health Guidelines, they ask that individual­s DO NOT attend the Stockade if they have symptoms of COVID-19, have been exposed to an individual with COVID-19, or have returned from internatio­nal travel within the past 14 days.

Visitors are required to use the provided Hand Sanitizer upon entrance into the facility, to follow directiona­l arrows to hang up their belongings, and to maintain a physical distance of six feet (two metres) between all individual­s.
