Dwayne enjoyed his retirement years, spending time in Palm Desert in the winter months, hiking, and golfing. There were many fun times with friends and he always enjoyed meeting new friends. After his stroke on November 22, 2022 Dwayne continued to be a model for all of us with his positive thinking and sustaining quality of life. We are so blessed to call him ours! The family would like to extend their deepest gratitude for the loving care he received from the compassionate team of doctors, nurses, and caregivers at the Cypress Regional Hospital as well as the Wascana Rehabilitation Centre, Providence Place, Canmore Hospital, and for the staff and friends at Revara in Swift Current. Dwayne will be missed as a loving husband, father, and grandfather — he was a steady influence for his family. His greatest joy came from his time laughing and relishing the joy his grandchildren brought to him.
