Southwest Facility Foundation approaches $1 million raised with a major commitment from Stark & Marsh

Southwest Facility Foundation are excited to announce that Stark & Marsh has committed $15,000 over ten years for a total of $150,000 to the Southwest Facility Foundation campaign.

Stark & Marsh’s commitment takes the Foundation to a total of $914,750 committed in support of future recreation­al facility constructi­on decisions made by City Council.

The City of Swift Current will continue to leverage and lobby all levels of government for their assistance and support of future projects.

Along with fundraisin­g, part of the Foundation’s mission is to share and educate the community about the need, importance, and benefits of new recreation facilities in Swift Current.

New facilities provide much-needed space for residents of all ages to gather and participat­e in a variety of recreation­al activities, fostering a healthy and active community.

The benefits extend well beyond the user groups and benefit the entire Southwest by improving the quality of life and boosting tourism, economic activity, and future growth.
