The addition of peddle propulsion systems has been growing in popularity in the kayak market and for 2019, Pelican International introduces the all-new Catch 130 HD, the company’s first pedal propulsion system kayak that has a length of 3.8 m (12.6 ft), weight of 38 kg (85 lbs) and more importantly, a reasonable MSRP of $1,499. Introduced at 2018 ICAST, the Catch 130 HD is considered one of the lightest peddle propulsion kayaks on the market and yet, it’s still well-equipped with four flush-mount rod holders, gear tracks, dedicated storage space and Pelican’s ERGOCAST G2 seating system.
