I would like to share a recent experience at Walmart.
I stopped for a quick purchase. I was in line at the express cash where they have four stations, but only one cashier working and a lineup continuing to grow.
One of the associates came along and asked if someone would like to use self-checkout. I asked if she could get some more cashiers but I was ignored. The second time this happened, she went on a power trip and asked me to stop yelling at her, which I had not.
If I wanted to use self-checkout, I would go on the internet. I do not like machines replacing people. Peter Siniowski London, Ont.
