A Cornwall woman is facing multiple charges The CCPS is alleging Kristen Burnell, 20, used various bank cards that did not belong to her, and that she also endorsed and deposited stolen cheques. Police say she attended a Brookdale Avenue business on Jan. 6 and removed an electronic device. On Thursday, Burnell was arrested, at which time she was found to be in possession of a knife. Burnell, held for a bail hearing, was charged with the following: three counts of fraud under $5,000, six counts of possession of property obtained by crime, three counts of theft under $5,000, theft over $5,000, two counts of utter a forged document, unlawful possession of a credit card, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, possession of a prohibited weapon, and carrying a concealed weapon.
