A Corn­wall woman is facing mul­ti­ple charges The CCPS is al­leg­ing Kris­ten Bur­nell, 20, used var­i­ous bank cards that did not be­long to her, and that she also en­dorsed and de­posited stolen cheques. Po­lice say she at­tended a Brook­dale Av­enue busi­ness on Jan. 6 and re­moved an electronic de­vice. On Thurs­day, Bur­nell was ar­rested, at which time she was found to be in pos­ses­sion of a knife. Bur­nell, held for a bail hear­ing, was charged with the fol­low­ing: three counts of fraud un­der $5,000, six counts of pos­ses­sion of prop­erty ob­tained by crime, three counts of theft un­der $5,000, theft over $5,000, two counts of ut­ter a forged doc­u­ment, un­law­ful pos­ses­sion of a credit card, pos­ses­sion of a weapon for a dan­ger­ous pur­pose, pos­ses­sion of a pro­hib­ited weapon, and car­ry­ing a con­cealed weapon.
