Last LRT full-day closure on Saturday to allow for Thales signal testing
Make your travel plans for Saturday ahead of time as the city is shutting the LRT system down for the day to allow Thales to do signal testing.
To accommodate transit riders on Saturday, replacement buses will be running during LRT service hours.
Thales, a multinational company that builds transport electrical systems, will be doing a full-day test on both the Metro Line and the Capital Line in order to meet a Dec. 4 deadline to restore both lines to full capacity.
Lines will not be running at full capacity right away because the city will have to do its own audit testing afterwards to make sure the system works.
