GeoNovus firms up deal to buy Greenstock for 10MM shares

GEONOVUS MIN­ER­ALS Corp. has signed a de­fin­i­tive agree­ment to ac­quire all of the as­sets of Greenstock Pub­lish­ing Ltd., a Cana­dian mu­sic pub­lisher, for 10 mil­lion shares. Greenstock Pub­lish­ing owns 50 per cent of the mu­sic pub­lish­ing for the popular Van­cou­ver band , Franklins Deal­ers. The Greenstock Pub­lish­ing business model is based on cre­at­ing and ac­quir­ing mu­sic cat­a­logues to place into ma­jor mo­tion pic­tures.

GeoNovus will now be build­ing a cat­a­logue of artists, writ­ers and new mu­sic to pro­mote world­wide through new me­dia and stream­ing chan­nels for the en­ter­tain­ment in­dus­try.

Mike Eng­land, chief ex­ec­u­tive of­fi­cer of GeoNovus, states, “I am ex­cited to fur­ther our vi­sion of be­com­ing a ma­jor player in the en­ter­tain­ment in­dus­try world­wide.”
