Nat­u­rally Splen­did sued by Ter­ra­max for $3M in dam­ages

ONE OF Nat­u­rally Splen­did En­ter­prises Ltd.’s sub­sidiaries, Nat­u­rally Splen­did En­ter­prises 2013 Ltd., was served a state­ment of claim by Ter­ra­max Hold­ings Corp. The ac­tion re­lates to an al­leged breach of a ser­vice and sup­ply agree­ment in con­nec­tion with the pur­ported clean­ing of hemp seed. Un­der the ac­tion, Ter­ra­max Hold­ings is seek­ing dam­ages of $3-mil­lion plus in­ter­est and costs. The ac­tion was filed with the Court of Queen’s Bench for Saskatchewan. Nat­u­rally Splen­did’s sub­sidiary be­lieves the ac­tion is with­out merit and will vig­or­ously de­fend the ac­tion. About Nat­u­rally Splen­did En­ter­prises Ltd. Nat­u­rally Splen­did is a biotech­nol­ogy and con­sumer prod­uct com­pany that is de­vel­op­ing, pro­duc­ing, com­mer­cial­iz­ing and li­cens­ing an en­tirely new gen­er­a­tion of plant-de­rived, bioac­tive in­gre­di­ents, nu­tri­ent-dense foods and re­lated prod­ucts. Nat­u­rally Splen­did is build­ing an ex­pand­ing port­fo­lio of patents (is­sued and pend­ing) and pro­pri­etary in­tel­lec­tual prop­erty fo­cused on the com­mer­cial uses of in­dus­trial hemp cannabi­noid com­pounds in a broad spec­trum of ap­pli­ca­tions.
