Manulife Multifactor Emerging Markets to trade on TSX
THE TORONTO Stock Exchange reports that Manulife Multifactor Emerging Markets Index ETF will be listed at 5:01 p.m. on Dec. 10, 2018, for trading at the open on Dec. 11, 2018. According to the TSX, there will be 300,000 unhedged units of the exchange-traded fund (ETF) issued and outstanding, with no securities reserved for issuance. The unit will trade under the symbol MEME.B and Cusip No. 56503M 20 4.
The TSX reports that the ETF seeks to replicate, to the extent reasonably possible and before fees and expenses, the performance of the John Hancock Dimensional Emerging Markets Index (CAD). The ETF invests directly or indirectly primarily in equity securities of issuers from emerging markets. According to the TSX, the ETF expects to pay cash distributions, if any, on a semi-annual basis. Its manager and trustee is Ma nu life Asset Management Ltd ., and its transfer agent and registrar is TSX Trust Company at its principal office in Toronto.
As stated in its prospectus dated Aug. 20, 2018, the ETF will issue 300,000 unhedged units at $25 per unit in its ini--
tial public offering. It expects to close the offering before the open on Dec. 11, 2018.
