BMO SIA Focused North American Equity to trade on TSX
THE TORONTO Stock Exchange reports that BMO SIA Focused North American Equity Fund will be listed at 5:01 p.m. on Dec. 10, 2018, for trading at the open on Dec. 11, 2018. According to the TSX, there will be 40,000 exchange-traded fund (ETF) series units issued and outstanding, with no securities reserved for issuance. The units will trade under the symbol ZFN and Cusip No. 09661G 10 5.
The TSX reports that the fund aims to provide long-term capital growth by investing primarily in a portfolio of North American equities. It expects to pay cash or reinvested distributions, if any, on an annual basis. According to the TSX, the fund’s manager and trustee is BMO Investments Inc., its transfer agent and registrar is AST Trust Company (Canada) at its principal offices in Toronto, and its fiscal year-end is Sept. 30.
As stated in its simplified prospectus dated Nov. 29, 2018, the fund will issue 40,000 ETF units at $30 per unit in its initial public offering. It expects to close the offering before the open on Dec. 11, 2018.
