Fabulous fashion and textile designer Zandra Rhodes got her start on Carnaby Street in London back in the Swinging ’60s, and the colourful, charismatic spirit of those days still infuses her work today. Her latest adventure is IKEA’s brilliant new accessories collection, called Zandra Rhodes Karismatik. “The name Karismatik is absolutely perfect for this collection, which I think is about character and dynamism,” says Zandra, who has dressed everyone from Princess Di to Paris Hilton, and even Freddie Mercury. The collection includes cushions, rugs, vases and more, all featuring the designer’s trademark bold patterns, vivid colours and striking shapes. They’re designed to let you express your own personality in how you use them – display one for a striking statement, mix and match a few any way you like, or go all in and fill your home with them. As Zandra says, “It’s all about being yourself, and letting others follow you.”
