Starter Jackson went five innings, giving up nine hits and striking out four. The win was his third straight and improved his record to 11- 6 on the season.

Credit goes to the bullpen as well for shutting down any momentum the Canaries had, as relievers Gabe Aguilar and Kaohi Downing each came in for one inning after Jackson was pulled.

The Goldeyes will close out the series and go for the four-game sweep of the Sioux Falls Canaries today at 1:30 p.m.
