Fujifilm X-T2

Deservedly earning our Highly Commended badge, the glorious Fujifilm X-T2 has been reeling in the five-star reviews all year. Slick handling, gorgeous Film Simulation modes, an intelligent hybrid AF and a 24.3MP X-Trans CMOS sensor band together to make this flagship Fujifilm mirrorless camera a true asset to any photographer.

Canon EOS M5

At the top of Canon’s mirrorless camera crop sits the EOS M5, reasonably priced and incredibly portable. It’s packing a 24.2MP APS-C size sensor and offers a slew of mighty useful features including a Dual Pixel CMOS AF and Digic 7 processor, plus Full HD video capture and 7fps shooting. It’s a superb package.

Nikon D7500

We have a lot of love for Nikon’s mid-range APS-C DSLR, which borrows tech and features from the brand’s APS-C flagship D500, including a 20.9MP sensor, high-res metering sensor and EXPEED 5 image processing. An advanced AF system, 8fps burst shooting and high-ISO performance all find a home here, too.

Panasonic Lumix GH5

Of course we nominated the Panasonic Lumix GH5 for a T3 Award – it’s a stellar 4K camera solution for the price! It’s made for hybrid photographers, with a 20.3MP sensor, contrast AF system, video modes including 4K at 60fps, plus a touchscreen interface and large EVF for easy driving and viewing.

Olympus PEN E-PL8

The gorgeous PEN E-PL8, designed with 16.1MP Live MOS Four Thirds sensor and TruePic VII imaging engine, is aimed at fashion-conscious amateurs and bloggers looking for stunning snaps to share. You’ll find a range of digital ‘art’ filters to tinker with, plus Full HD recording and built-in Wi-Fi for sharing images.
