The standard Mercedes-AM G G65, which the Brabus 900 is based on, is already a pretty bonkers SUV: its V12 engine produces a mighty 630HP. But that wasn’t enough for Brabus, oh no – it’s only gone and tuned the engine so it’s now producing a colossal 900HP in this version

Outwardly, the biggest change made to the original G-Wagen is the huge carbon fibre intake on the bonnet – it’s there to suck in enough air to keep those hungry turbos fed all day long

The original 6-litre V12 bi-turbo lump was meaty enough, but Brabus overhauled it, increasing displacement to 6.3 litres, adding bigger turbos and a new stainless steel exhaust

To keep it stable, the 900 has a wide body kit, and the wheels are hefty 23x11 Brabus parts. The brake pads are a whopping 16.2 inches up front, the largest ever on an SUV
