HOW TO GET MORE FROM YOUR SMART AIR PURIFIER

T3 - - Home -

GIVE IT SPACE

Each air purifier in this test differs in the way in which air circulates around them. Some capture the contaminated air from one side and punt out clean air from the other, while some do the job from front to back. By giving your air purifier a sufficient amount of space all around it, you’re ensuring that it can do its job efficiently and you’ll get the best performance. Neatly, the Dyson Pure Cool can be adjusted to enable you to blow the air out from either the front or back, depending on your preference.

PLACE IT PROPERLY

Unless you’re putting your air purifier in the bedroom – which is the recommended place since you spend the most time here – you should place it in the room you’re actually in. Sounds obvious, we know. Then, make sure to point the flow of air towards you, and leave it on at all times to maintain proper air purification.

REPLACE THE FILTERS

The units in this test are smart, so they will tell you when the filters that purify the air in your home need changing. To maintain proper performance from your air purifier, the filter should be changed regularly. Normally these filters last about six months to a year, depending on how much you use your purifier – be sure to set it to auto mode to maximise its efficiency.
