This 4K security can record in colour at night, and pick out the finer details of an intruder’s face

Arlo recently announced its latest wireless security camera, the Arlo Ultra, and it sounds ace. In addition to offering Ultra HD (hence the name) recording, the rechargeable Ultra has a built-in spotlight to enable it to record in colour at night, and noise-cancelling microphones to enhance audio quality. It also has a 180-degree field of view, with a 4K HDR sensor and high-res clout enabling it to pick out the finer details of what’s happening outside. Max resolution footage can be stored locally (microSD card) or in the cloud. The Ultra ships in early 2019, with a one-camera system (which includes a SmartHub and subscription) costing £369.
