Optoma’s candidate for sub-£100 domination, by contrast, do just about everything well, and are better than many earbuds costing more. When it comes to comfort, fit and sound quality, they do a good job, especially if you think of them as being primarily for gym use and/or for listening to workout-friendly, beat-driven music, from hip-hop to rock and electronic dance. That said, the ‘hooks’ that are supposed to make them extra-secure for exercise didn’t sit in the right place, though they fit perfectly well anyway in our ears.
