Combined with a powerful 2K video with HDR and 24/7 colour video recording, the Arlo Pro 5 captures better images and videos than its predecessors. Arlo has also made it possible to light up photos and screenshots to better identify faces and distinguishing features of intruders.

The Arlo Pro 5’s camera has a 160-degree field of view, 12x zoom and faster reaction times. It still has popular features from the previous Arlo Pro 4, like two-way audio, echo cancellation and low power modes, but the Arlo Pro 5 has 30% more battery life and dual-band Wi-Fi connectivity.

Another impressive feature of the Arlo Pro 5 is its 7m spotlight reach and smart siren, which can be triggered automatically or via the app. These two features give a burst of bright light and aggressive noise to scare any trespassers, so your home feels more safe, secure and protected.

Speaking of the app, Arlo launched a new version of its Arlo Secure app with the Arlo Pro 5. The app has been improved to offer more personalised protection, better scheduling and live viewing, and stores video footage for up to 60 days. It’s also significantly faster, which is especially handy if you want to quickly check in on what’s happening at home.
