A busy New Salem holiday, indeed!
If you plan on attending the many events this month, your calendar will be very full!
One of the many things happening is on Dec. 8. The Annual Downshore Christmas Market will be held at the Log Building from 9 a.m. to noon.

On Dec. 13 there will be a Santa’s workshop at the Advocate Harbour Library from 3 to 4 p.m. It’s for Grades primary to 6. Youngsters can make a special gift and card to give to someone this holiday season.
A Dave Baker & Friends Christmas gathering will then
take place at the Log Building on Dec. 16 at 7 p.m. The next night, Dec. 17, there’s Spencer’s Island Bingo at the Advocate Fire Hall at 7 p.m.
And that’s not all. The Advocate School annual Christmas concert is Dec. 18 at 6:30 p.m. The storm date will be Dec. 19. ■ ■ ■
