Labrador City man arrested in Baie Comeau for making threats
The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary received a complaint on July 22 that a man had made threats against two residents of Labrador City.
Further information was received during the investigation that the man also threatened to cause damage to the RNC detachment in Labrador West using an explosive device.
An arrest warrant was issued for Christopher Clarke in relation to the allegations.
The Surete du Quebec arrested Clarke in Baie Comeau, Quebec on Wednesday, July 25. He was transported to Labrador City on July 26.
He will be in court again Aug. 6 to face two charges of uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm and a charge of personating a police officer.
