A missed opportunity
At a time when many Canadians would like to see an alternative to the money-squandering ways of the Liberals, the announced closing of the GM plant in Oshawa was an excellent chance for Andrew Scheer to show some real leadership.
Instead, predictably, about the only thing he could add was that the proposed carbon tax scared them off. The fact that GM was also closing four plants in U.S. states without a price on carbon was lost on the Conservative leader.
Once more instead of a chance to shine we just get more Scheer stupidity.
