TUTHILL (nee Stone), Claire (Clarice)

Claire has left us for a well de­served, hard earned rest. She passed away peace­fully, sur­rounded by her fam­ily at St. Thomas El­gin Gen­eral Hospi­tal on Thurs­day, De­cem­ber 6, 2018 in her 89th year. She is sur­vived by her best friend and hus­band of 66 years Harold, chil­dren Mike (Le­zlee), Kim Wil­cox (Dave Perry), Blair (San­dra) and Craig (Lise) and a brother Dave Hunt (Lor­raine) and many grand­chil­dren and great­grand­chil­dren as well as many cousins, nieces and neph­ews, many in the Strat­ford area. She was pre­de­ceased by two chil­dren, Steven and Cathy Shipp (Barry) and broth­ers Ken­neth (Ellen), Robert and Stephen (Cindi). She is the daugh­ter of Clif­ford and Dorothy Stone (Robin­son). Claire is well known in the Aylmer area be­cause of her work in food ser­vice, par­tic­u­larly at the Black An­gus and her mem­ber­ship in the Kinette Club. There will be no fu­neral. A Cel­e­bra­tion of Life gath­er­ing will be sched­uled later. Cre­ma­tion has taken place.
